While this might be acceptable for a texture hidden away, low resolution textures are clearly visible from many parts of the parking/taxiing area. Now what is unacceptable is the fact that in many places the building textures are VERY low resolution and not at all worthy of an MSFS scenery, but a clear sign that existing textures from P3D have been reused. Also the landing T in the signal square is dynamic and responds to wind, which is great to have and many other developers don't bother to do, so well done on that!

There are some good things to be seen however: The airport is nicely modelled with adequate detail and even includes various objects/houses placed around the airfield. I'm afraid this is another disappointing P3D conversion done by Flylogic. Which is frustrating because this isn’t a highly technical add on that should have that requirement.įinally, some sustained wing flex akin to what’s modeled on LSH’s FlythemaddogX for P3D, would definitely make this a better looking product and justify the high number of external camera angles aerosoft bothered to model. This is the first time I had a product that outright *needs* hardware, or at least mouse and yoke, in order to move the control surfaces. I have used addons more expensive and cheaper than this one and they all, despite some saying they *require* joysticks, still work fine with keyboard and mouse. I have to pushback with shift+p to avoid it. This is quite annoying in my opinion and it doesn’t go away even if their view system is turned off. When electing to use aerosoft’s pushback system, the camera will suddenly cut to the parking brake and then the engine ignition switches. The minor ones are just criticisms of some stylistic choices. Those are the bigger issues that get in my way of flying the product.

It is only when the numbers are inserted into the MCDU that “an out of range” message appears and the fuel planner needs to be loaded again. The fuel planner for the A321 doesn’t tell you if the CG it calculated for a given payload is within range. Aerosoft is unable to recreate them and thus it remains unsolved. Sometimes the sim will just crash by itself and looking over at the aerosoft forums, these are not new issues. Speed controlled by the MCDU, will on some flights, decide to plummet and stay there unless a new speed is selected on the FCU.

I thought that with the lack of failures modeled and simplified flight model, this would be a relatively bug free add on but no.
